“Tell me, what is it you want to do with your one wild  and precious life?”

Do you struggle with your relationships, losing sight of who you are and your grasp on independence? Can you envision the person you want to be, but can’t figure out how to let her out? Most of the issues we struggle with start to come up with the people we love the most. These can range from past hurts to creating healthy boundaries to giving your own life the care and priority you give others. Often, these unresolved issues need attention in order for you to feel grounded, happy, and fulfilled.

Explore new ways of understanding yourself and make changes important to your well-being. Therapy can be a great tool to help you examine your stuck places and move into a better place with yourself and those you love.

Lia started Nourishing Roots in 2012 and has been in private practice for over a decade.

Lia specializesworking with women in their 20’s, and 30’s, and 40’s and has worked with women from different backgrounds and life stories, and loves helping people lead a happier and more fulfilled life.

Her client’s often joke that she is the therapist to convince you to travel the world, make huge changes, and really believe that anything is possible.

She understands that therapy can be a really scary process, but knows that with a good therapist it gets much easier. Lia will work with you at a pace that stretches you to grow but doesn’t overwhelm you.  Her sessions are warm, open, and often full of laughter.

Lia is a community herbalist and certified yoga teacher, and focuses on holistic healing ~ mind, body, & spirit, and teaches holistic techniques to help control anxiety and depression. She  sees the potential in human beings for change and growth, and believe that everyone is capable of finding happiness.

Whether you are struggling with relationships, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, she can join you on your journey toward healing.

Rebekah Boss

Therapist

LMSW, RYT

Therapy is a tool that helps us to identify when our past is influencing how we see, feel, or respond to the present moment.

Our emotional history plays a huge role in our present lives. It impacts our thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and creates the patterns we fall into. It shapes the partners be become and the partners we pick. It becomes a weight we carry into our future.

Life is a winding road full of MANY transitions. I believe the space a therapist holds should provide a consistent, nonjudgmental, and protected space to unpack what you are carrying.

By releasing the emotional loads, you are freeing up space to see more clearly and rebuild with intention instead of habit.

Whether looking for an individual space or a space for couples or families, I view my role as a support. A support who holds the light for you as you read YOUR map.

I am a certified trauma therapist, Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Yoga instructor, creative and Mom of 2 – who is not new to the realization that life is HARD. I honor your journey and will offer new tools as you walk your path toward the lighter future you desire.
